The Royal Oak is back
The Royal Oak returns as a proper community pub, run by volunteers from the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway, breathing new life into a much-loved village favourite just across from Haworth Station.
For generations, it’s been a go-to stop for locals, Brontë Country wanderers, and railway folk from all corners. Once part of Webster’s Brewery of Halifax, it’s seen a bit of everything over the years — including a flood or two — before its unexpected closure in 2024.
But like any good local… It’s not one to stay quiet for long.

Now, the doors are open once again, the glasses are lined up, and there’s a fresh chapter being poured.
Expect a solid range of real ales, lagers, wines and spirits, alongside snacks and light bites to keep you going. Inside, it’s proudly railway-themed, a nod to its long-standing connection with the line and the people who keep it running.
